Drache Umwelttechnik GmbH develops, produces and sells ceramic foaming filters for the melting filtration of cast metals as well as solid ceramics and equipment for continuous aluminum casting. To strengthen our team we are looking for the next possible date for our company headquarters in Diez a:

Controller (m/f/d)

Your Tasks:

  • Further development of analysis, reporting and control instruments
  • Optimization and implementation of cost center and cost unit accounting
  • Preparation of forecasts, budgets as well as daily, monthly, quarterly and annual reports incl. subsidiaries and branches Drache USA and Drache Middle East
  • Preparation of ad-hoc reports, variance analyses and plausibility checks
  • Preparation of reports, decision papers and recommendations for action for the management board
  • Development of management cockpit with relevant KPI's
  • Collaboration in the creation, review and assessment of business cases
  • Carrying out analyses (e.g. contribution margin and sales evaluations)
  • Continuous development of our controlling processes and the supporting IT solutions

Your Qualifications:

  • Degree in economics with a focus on Controlling or comparable training
  • Several years of professional experience in controlling in a manufacturing company
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as a pronounced understanding of numbers
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and acting
  • Confident appearance and assertiveness with at the same time high at the same time high communication skills and social competence
  • Ability to present complex issues in an understandable way
  • High degree of result-orientation and independence way of working
  • High IT affi nity and confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel
  • Experience in working with ERP systems (ideally Navision), as well as experience with business intelligence applications
  • Good command of English
